DESIGN APPROACH
Traditionally, we design objects by their familiar shapes and configurations.
Adjustments are often discrete and static.
Generatively, objects are given insight, re-perceived as constraints and objectives.
Objects now carry information, developing an evolution of informed mutations.

GENERATIVE SIMULATION
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), this model simulates the force vectors of a foot strike and
the material properties of PebaX® Rnew®, a bio-based thermoplastic elastomer made of castor beans. Layered with Topology Optimization (TopOp), the midsole then morphs and reforms,
fine-tuning structural integrity in balance with targeted material usage.
